Players need time to review the new CBA resolution before they vote.
NFL Lockout goes to a vote Monday and is expected to end within the week.
Thursday evening the Owners signed the new CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) but the players did not. The Players claim that they did not receive a copy of the new CBA until after the conference call Thursday night.
The players want this lockout to end as much as anyone else, but they felt betrayed by the Owners and feel they need time to read it over.

Did Baltimore’s Le’Ron McClain Intentionally spit or accidentally spray?
During a time out in the 3rd quarter, Baltimore Ravens fullback Le’Ron McClain allegedly spit in the face of Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder during a time out in Sunday’s game which the Ravens won 26-10.
There has been a lot of media coverage on whether or not McClain intentionally spit in Crowder’s face or if it could have been unintentional spray due to the heated situation.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano asked the NFL league to investigate the issue.
Ravens veteran’s Ray Rice and Ed Reed prove experience makes great leaders.
Baltimore was almost upset by the Buffalo Bills last Sunday, but the Ravens pulled it out with a 37-34 victory. The Ravens are now 5-2 going into bye week.
Ray Lewis proved that experience can still outshine youth when he forced a fumble in overtime which led to the winning field goal.
Lewis has led the Ravens in tackles for 12 out of 15 years and is right on track to lead them again for the 13th season.
When Ed Reed returns to practice will be up to Reed and his doctors according to Baltimore Ravens Coach John Harbaugh.
“I’m hopeful and I’m optimistic and I feel like he’s doing great,” Harbaugh said. “What I was trying to say is he’s working really hard and he looks good. But we don’t know. That will be up to Ed and the doctors and the trainers to see how it goes.”
Reed was placed on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list after off-season hip surgery.
Ravens vs Steelers was anticipated to be the game of the week and it was.
This game proved to be an edge-of-your-seat, don’t blink match between these two formidable teams on the Steelers’ Heinz Field.
Towards the end it looked like the Steelers would hold the Ravens, but thanks to a brilliant defense Baltimore was able to get the ball back giving Flacco the chance to show what he’s made of for a 17-14 win in the last few minutes of the game.
Two years ago the Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback Troy Smith came down with a rare case of tonsillitis leading the way for rookie Joe Flacco to step in. Flacco proved his skills and has been the Ravens starting quarterback ever since.
Troy Smith played in the Sept. 2 preseason game and despite him making the best of the situation, a press release explains that Baltimore feels it is best to keep just two quarterbacks on the team, Joe Flacco and backup Marc Bulger.
The Ravens free safety Ed Reed wants to get back on the field, but if Reed returns before he is fully recovered from his off season hip surgery, it could be detrimental to his career.
The Baltimore Ravens will make the decision this Saturday on whether or not to place Ed Reed on the Reserve physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list.
Reed does not want to wait the six weeks that would be required of him to sit out if he is placed on the PUP list, but there are more important factors to consider before determining if Ed will be playing in Sept. 13 opening game at the New York Jets or not.
